Volunteers

Garden plants that spring up unsown are fondly known as “volunteers.” In past summers, volunteer mini pumpkins and cherry tomatoes have fruited in our garden. I love the surprise of finding these eager veggies that bless us with their willingness to grow. In the same way, the wonderful people who volunteer to edit, tutor, and converse with refugees are a delightful gift to our mission. It would not be possible to serve all of the English learners and churches who need our services without the help of these fruitful volunteers!
